Biographie de Joana Bastos

Joana Bastos est une artiste visuelle internationale et productrice créative multi-primée du Portugal. Elle est titulaire d'un diplôme en gestion du marketing, spécialisé en marketing de la mode et en direction artistique de la mode, de l'Université des Arts de Londres.

Dans son travail de production visuelle, elle utilise ses multiples compétences pour combiner stylisme, accessoires de mode, maquillage, coiffure et art corporel, développant un large éventail de concepts comme formes alternatives d'expression et de communication pour des productions dans des contextes professionnels et privés.

Joana réalise et produit des films de mode qui ont remporté des prix internationaux, comme son dernier film de mode "EarlyBird", récompensé à Londres, Los Angeles, Cannes et Barcelone. Son art a également été publié dans de nombreux articles et magazines internationaux.

En mettant l'accent sur la mode, la beauté, l'esthétique visuelle, la photographie et la vidéo, Joana Bastos affine continuellement ses compétences, proposant à ses clients des solutions créatives où l'art et la beauté priment. Elle a également créé le nouveau projet "I Am Art" pour tous ceux qui souhaitent faire l'expérience d'une connexion interne et d'une libération émotionnelle à travers l'art, la peinture et la photographie, où le corps devient une toile et un véhicule d'expression créative inspirée par un ou plusieurs objets. dans le but que chacun puisse créer sa propre œuvre d'art et s'y transformer, sans autocritique ni préjugés.

Biography of Joana Bastos

Joana Bastos is a multi-award-winning international visual artist and creative producer from Portugal. She holds a degree in Marketing Management, specializing in Fashion Marketing and Art Direction for Fashion from the University of the Arts London.

In her visual production work, she uses her multiple skills to combine styling, fashion accessories, makeup, hairstyling, and body art, developing a wide range of concepts as alternative forms of expression and communication for productions in both business and private contexts.

Joana directs and produces fashion films that have gained international awards, such as her latest fashion film "EarlyBird," which has been recognized in London, Los Angeles, Cannes, and Barcelona. Her art has also been published in numerous international articles and magazines.

With a focus on fashion, beauty, visual aesthetics, photography, and video, Joana Bastos continually refines her skills, providing creative solutions for her clients where art and beauty take precedence. She also created the new project "I Am Art" for everyone who wants to experience internal connection and emotional liberation through art, painting, and photography, where the body becomes a canvas and the vehicle of creative self-expression inspired by one or more objects with the aim that each person can create their own piece of art and transform into it, without self-criticism nor prejudice.

Laboratory "I Am Art - The expression of my creative essence" by Joana Bastos 

What is it?

It is an 8-hour experience of internal connection and emotional liberation, for everyone over 18 years old, through contemporary art, which includes creative makeup, bodypaint, conceptual fashion, photography, among others, in which the body is the vehicle of creative and artistic expression from inspiration from one or more objects that are most important to you.

What is it for?

It serves to let our most creative potential flow from more internal processes, without planning or expectations, with total freedom of creation.

Who is it for?

For everyone who wants to explore different narratives, discover themselves and work on confidence and self-representation through conceptual art, fantasy and beauty in a totally free way, without criticism or prejudice.

》PROGRAM:

▪ 1st part (10am):

(2 hours)

》Basic breathing exercises;

》 Presentation of visual artist Joana Bastos and her work;

》Class presentation;

 - rest - (15min)

▪ 2nd part (12:15pm)

(2 hours)

》Pedagogical introduction to makeup, bodypainting and visual arts techniques using the body as a creative vehicle for internal transformation;

》Presentation of products and materials. Demonstration of some application and painting techniques on the skin;

》Moment of inspiration and expansion of individual creativity through key objects

 - rest - (15min)

 ▪ 3rd part (2:30 pm)

》Development of ideas and individual execution of work

 ▪4th part (4:30 pm):

Material to take with you:

▪ One or more objects that you especially like. (Ex: books, fabrics, watches, glasses, fans, lamps, rugs, flowers, clothes, shoes, etc.)

▪ Brushes, sponges, paper or plastic cups;

▪Comfortable clothes that can get dirty;

▪ As it is an intensive laboratory, it is advisable to bring something to eat and drink, as you will be focused on working on your piece of art.

To provide greater creative freedom, classes are divided by gender.
